| We are aware that it can be very difficult to find a driving instructor with an adapted automatic car and the ability to teach people with disabilities. A simple internet search for "disabled driving lessons" brings up many websites but unfortunately the vast majority of these websites are not helpful. We are trying to build up a national resource of driving schools who can provide disabled driving lessons. Please feel free to leave details of your requirements on this page and hopefully a driving instructor in your area may read it and contact you. Please remember that you should only use christian names and state the area you are in. Do not be too specific as your details will be available for all to see. We would suggest just leaving your email address as a contact. By leaving your details, you may show driving instructors in your area that there is a demand for disabled driving lessons in your area. It may encourage them to spend the capital required to adapt their vehicle and provide the service in your area. |
